Bond of Brother and Sister's Love: Rakshya Bandan

"I care my brother, I need to buy rakhi." "I care my sister, hence I have to visit market to purchase the rakhi." The voice of the learners from grade four made us provide the opportunity to prepare the rakhi to their brothers and sisters for the festival of rakshya bandan that eventually led to the craft work and sentiments too. Connecting the bonding of love and their feelings, grade teachers along with the learners made various beautiful rakhis. The major objective to approach the students to do so was to let them do on their own and reduce the culture of buying the readymade rakhi found in the market. Many learners tied up the same rakhi to their lovely brothers and sisters which made the project done at school remained a success story.
