Mokshada bagged the title of first runner up in cricket

Mokshada won the first runner up title in Jayakumarnath Shah Memorial U-16 Inter-School Cricket Tournament organized by Kathmandu District Cricket Association. Sainik high school and Mokshada School had competed for the title of the said competition. Mokshada, who batted first, had added 142 runs with the loss of 8 wickets in 20 overs. Mokshada had given a target of 143 runs. However, due to rain, Sainik was given a target of 70 runs in 9 overs by Duckworth-Lewis method (DLS). Sainik achieved the target without losing any wicket in 6.5 overs.

In the second semi-final match, Mokshada had defeated DAV School by 12 runs. Batting first, Mokshada scored 105 runs. Chasing a target of 106 runs, DAV was bowled out for 93 runs.
