Happy World Environment Day – 2024

With the theme, 'Land restoration, desertification and drought resilience' under the slogan 'Our land. Our future. We are #GenerationRestoration', the Environment day (June 5) was successfully celebrated all around the world. Mokshada School also celebrated Environment day with all of our students.  Environment day is one of the most anticipated celebrations in Mokshada as we believe that environment is one of the most important thing for this planet. This gets taught to our students all year long so, when the actual Environment day arrives, the students every year try to make the most out of it.

Every year, the students of mokshada would clean up their surrounding area as a valuable effort for this day. But this year, the students didn’t just clean up their surroundings but also planted nearly 50 plants inside the school premises by themselves. They dug the hole, and planted various flowers as well as shrubs which they themselves will be taking care of throughout the year.  These plants will not just increase the beauty of the school but also keep reminding the students of their hard work and how the environment is theirs to protect.

Mokshada also did an exhibition relating to the environment day, where the students prepared various pamphlets highlighting the importance of our environment and the nature around us. They also made various handicrafts with the papers and other objects recycled in the school. All of these hard work done by our students make us very proud of them. Not just in environment day, we hope to make them human beings who will love and cherish the environment every day.
